The invisible silhouette
Clothing acts on its own. Running, jumping and city movement read through silhouette, fabric and shoes, without a visible body.
Movement without a visible body.
Remove the visible wearer while keeping the feeling of their action: impulse, weight, pose and city rhythm.
Method & detail
Thirteen source images show garments without a visible wearer in urban situations: running, jumping, a crossing, an escalator, a motorcycle at night and walking by a café. This is character research through clothing, not ordinary catalogue photography. The archive does not establish a brand, client or commercial release.
The city stays real.
Light, architecture and passers-by establish scale. The missing body is the unusual element, not the entire world around it.
Method & detail
The selection changes setting and viewpoint: a low angle beneath a jump, a wall shadow, glass architecture, a waterfront and road lighting at night. The city setting makes the implied character readable through action. This reading comes from the images; exact generation settings and the production stack cannot be recovered from a picture.
A series you can compare.
Running, jumping and riding express the character of the clothing through pose, viewpoint and the city setting.
Method & detail
A fast overview communicates the breadth of the study; individual images remain available for closer inspection. It shows actual archived variants, not invented intermediate states. Animating the selection does not establish physical continuity in the transformation of one garment into another.
Action reads through fabric.
Tension, folds, shoe position and contact with the ground take the place of a visible body.
Method & detail
The pose needs to read through the garment’s silhouette: fabric responds to the stride, posture and direction of travel; shoes explain support. These are visual-review criteria for the supplied tests, not verified automated QC. Applying the idea to a specific product advertisement additionally requires source garment views and checks of construction, colour, print and back view.
Thirteen city images.
A distinct image series. Every variant remains available individually, not only in a fast overview.
Method & detail
This selection is distinct from KLOTHES: here the garment appears without a person; there, the research concerns a model pack and consistent views. The page makes every supplied test inspectable. Client, processed-product count, commercial launch and outcomes cannot be established from an archive title or filenames.
