Visual test: a pencil-drawn city, a warm evening, a convertible and a courtyard encounter. Architecture becomes the setting for a short story.
First, a drawing.
A pencil-drawn city opens the story.
Then, movement.
A convertible, warm light and architecture share one visual world.
A detail carries the story.
A hand on the convertible door: a small action connects the characters and setting.
A separate lighting and texture study
Strengthen the texture and depth of an urban setting while preserving the exact viewpoint, composition and architectural geometry. Light should shape the material, not disguise it with a filter.
Method and review criteria
In the recovered still-image brief, the source photograph owns the final crop, camera and architecture. Separate references control only colour, shadows or reflections. Stone, plaster, brick and metal have distinct texture rules; the light band and shadow mass need a plausible source and preserved detail.
No new angle, expanded frame or bent straight lines. One coherent light, the original focus plane, readable microtexture and reflections aligned with their surface. Locks and acceptance criteria are documented in the working brief; this does not claim that every variant automatically passed inspection.
